A feature film starring Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen, produced by Mandalay Entertainment. It was directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Lloyd Phillips. Wolf Krooger was the Production Designer. The film was shot in Montréal, Namibia and Thailand. Kim was the Supervising Art Director in Thailand.
The production was based north of Chiang Mai, in the Golden Triangle area of Thailand. Locations were at a 'Black Lahu' hilltribe village Ban Na Noi - where a Cambodian refugee village and hospital was built, and Kanchanaburi in the south - where downtown Phnom Penh was created. The 'Mekong River' scenes where actually shot on the River Kwai.
